Nalandabodhi Boulder is a study and practice center with over eighty members under the direction of The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche (NBI), part of Nalandabodhi with centers (NBI) and study groups throughout North America, Europe and Asia. We are dedicated to bringing the genuine lineage of Tibetan Buddhism to the modern Western community.
In accordance with the vision of contributing to an authentic transmission of the Buddhadharma to contemporary students in our region, The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche has designed a complete, progressive curriculum (NBI) providing in-depth training in study, reflection and meditation.
Nalandabodhi Boulder was the first center in the Nalandabodhi mandala. It began in 1996 when The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche was invited to take the seat of the "Wisdom Chair" at Naropa University. A group of students gathered around Rinpoche and he began teaching regularly to the budding sangha. Soon after, Rinpoche moved to Seattle and incorporated Nalandabodhi as a religious non-profit organization.
