For
those who do not live near a Nalandabodhi center or study
group, [1] Nalandabodhi provides
home study of the Nalandabodhi
study curriculum. Homestudy participants set their
own pace, covering the material and completing the exam
process.
Home study students may participate in online forums to discuss
their studies with senior Nalandabodhi instructors and
other
curriculum students.
The
homestudy program materials and assignments are identical
to those in the Nalandabodhi centers. Home study students
are provided with source books based on the teachings of Khenpo
Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche and The
Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche. Exams are graded by mail. In
addition, online forums are available for dialogue with instructors
and other students in the home study and center-based programs.
Home
study students are expected to fulfill all the normal curriculum
requirements, which includes two exams per course (both written),
homestudy tuition, and sourcebook materials costs and shipping.
Completion of exams is a prerequisite to registration and
acquiring sourcebook materials for subsequent classes.
The
Nalandabodhi Study and Practice Department provides all students
with source books and other study materials. For more information, and to order the program, please contact homestudy@nalandabodhi.org
