Acknowledgment Of Volunteers

The compassionate activity of our enlightened teachers is vast and manifests in many forms. This activity is the source of our connection to greater understanding and insight. Through this activity, our own genuine compassion can be born, flourish and give rise to the power to benefit others. Our connection to the activity of our teachers is a direct connection to the heart of their wisdom.

The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, with so many projects in the ground, path and fruition stages of development, expresses his great appreciation to those people who have committed so much time and energy to helping with these projects.

Transcription Support

Rinpoche would like to acknowledge here the volunteers who have contributed to the time-consuming task of transcribing talks. This work is very important to the whole process of collecting, archiving, transcribing and editing teachings prior to publication. Rinpoche extends his sincere appreciation to you all.

Service to Rinpoche's Household

The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, sometimes known as our "nomad" guru, travels around the world to teach many beings. Through the magic of tendrel, we are able to receive the blessings of his profound oral instructions.

In order to organize and run a teaching visit, many students must work together with the elusive conditions of scheduling, finances, facilities, publicity, transportation, personal service, cooking, social arrangements and interviews. The teachings themselves require another collection of energies--from the gathering of texts to the gathering of cushions, the enlisting of umdzes and discussion group leaders and the setting up of an efficient and pleasing space in which the sounds of Dharma can be clearly heard and recorded.

The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche wishes to express his sincere appreciation to all of the students who contribute to these activities. These students work very hard, with skill and generosity of spirit. Their dedication results in great benefit for many.
